I will happily write about virtually anything. Especially chocolate.
But most of the time I tend to be talking to people who are trying
to improve the worlds of work, education, social services, health
and on a more fundamental level, the future of the planet we live
on.
After five years working in press and campaigns for the RSPB,
CSV and Comic Relief, I knew that I wanted to ask the awkward
questions rather than answering them. That meant re-training at
City University to gain the BJTC diploma, after which I spent
a year working with local journalists in Kosovo to ensure fair
reporting of elections as part of encouraging a more independent,
rigorous media.
Now freelancing from the northwest, I regularly
cover stories throughout Greater Manchester, the Midlands, north
Wales, Merseyside, the central Pennine stretch over to Yorkshire
and up to Tyneside.
